Combination Courses

These courses are designed to maximise the student’s time in the school. The courses are ideal for anyone who would like an intensive course with extra support in a certain area, for example professional people or university students with exams.

Combination courses can be made up of:

• Group classes and private (one-to-one) lessons.

• General English combined with other group courses - Communication Skills, Grammar & Skills, English for Work,  Exam Preparation (IELTS or Cambridge) or Business English.

For the private lessons, the student has the chance to decide exactly what they would like to study. This could be to work on an area of weakness, to explore another subject of interest such as English literature or culture, or to work on a more specific area of study (business communication, presentation skills etc).

The student completes a detailed ‘Needs Analysis’ to enable the teacher to focus the lesson effectively.  A study plan is then designed to meet the student’s needs.
