How to Enrol on an English course:

If you feel that you would like extra support in your home country when applying to study with us, you can enrol with one of our agents overseas. They will deal with us on your behalf, and usually help you with the visa process (if applicable).

When the school receives the application, we will send your agency an email to confirm receipt and query any unclear/incorrect information. The enrolment documentation will be sent within 24 hours - 48 hours in peak times. We deal with applications in priority order according to start date. If we need to clarify any information, your agent will contact you.

Payment of a deposit may be required. Please check with the school on deposit policy.

For visa students we need to receive your passport number and your full home address. We cannot process the acceptance letters without this information.

It is strongly advised that students who are applying for a student visa prepay all tuition fees as proof of Payment in the Letter of Acceptance will facilitate visa approval.

The original enrolment documents may be mailed, faxed, or emailed upon request. Visa students need the original enrolment documents on headed paper for their visa interview. If students need to receive documents urgently, it is advisable to have these documents sent by courier. The student is responsible for any courier fees or extra charges for this service.

For the UK schools, students under the age of 18 years must have the application co-signed by his/her parent or legal guardian. Underage students may also be required to submit underage agreements signed by their parents. Custodianship may also need to be arranged.

Enrol via a Local Agent in your Country:

  • For EU students a completed registration form should be received at least one working week prior to the start date of the programme
  • For visa students a completed registration form should be received at least four weeks prior to the start date of the programme to allow time for you to go through the visa application and interview process, confirm receipt of your visa and advise the school with enough time for us to arrange and confirm accommodation.
  • Assess your English level – You can take our Level Placement Test to find out. To download the test, click here.
  • Decide which course you want to study
  • Contact one of our partner agents in your country who will give you further advice on courses and accommodation and help you process your booking. You will need to give the agency the following information:

London School

We cannot accept students under the age of 17.

Hastings School

We can accept students aged 14-16 only for the Teenage Activity Programme during set times of the year. These students cannot enrol on adult programmes.

For adult programmes, we cannot accept students under the age of 17.

Minors travelling Alone:

Students under 16 travelling to the UK alone, must have a letter of consent, handwritten, in English signed by their parents. This letter will be requested on arrival at UK airports so students must carry it in their hand luggage. A template letter can be downloaded from our Media Downloads page.
