What do our students think about their time at Shane Global? We are proud to say that time and time again, our students tell their friends to come and study at Shane Global in London and Hastings. We believe it is our dedication to providing a quality experience with a friendly atmosphere…don’t take our word for it, here is a selection of student testimonials from all over the World: HASTINGSMustafa, Turkey: "I have studied at Shane Global language school in Hastings as a long term student. Learning English at Shane Global was one of the significant steps in my life. The teachers are the best people that I would ever meet in my life and I am being totally honest. I have learnt many things from them, such as writing, listening, reading and speaking. Besides, it is not only studying English but also English culture. I have met a number of different nationalities. People who are absolutely amazing. Hinestly, Shane Global enables me to share a variety of knowledge and cultures during my study period. Ultimately, another unique perspective of Shane Gloabl is a student reunion. Every Friday the rest of the school gets together for the students' graduation. A student who graduates can make a speech if he or she feels like, and some of these moments are a good laugh. I found it very interesting." Elin, Sweden: "I've learned how to deal with things alone with no parent here to help me. And mostly I have imporved my English and the lessons are fun!" Dajana, Slovakia: I have to say that this course is one of the best experiences in my life. I've learned a lot of things like never before. Not just about Engliand, but also about other nationalities. Great opportunity." Yuko Ishii, Japan: "When I arrived in Hastings, I was very nervous because I couldn’t speak or understand English very well, but I become relaxed little by little after my first day. It helped that my host parents and house mate were so kind and helpful, that made me feel very welcome. I also liked my teachers and their way of teaching. Indeed, if I had a problem about study or other things, the teachers and staff guided me all the time. The school has a homey atmosphere. To be honest, the Hastings school is not so big, so I can chat with teachers and make friends with all students in this school. I like it very much. Another thing that I really enjoyed was the view of the sea and beautiful garden from the classroom window. On a fine day, I always see wonderful scenery. In summer, I sometimes wanted to go out during the lessons but I never did it. Indeed, after the lessons I usually went to a beach or park to have my lunch. I’ve never tried that in Japan, so that was great fun for me. Hastings is a lovely place mixing the old and the new, which I enjoyed very much. The old town is especially pretty. There are a lot of good pubs and pretty shops and some old buildings, which create a good atmosphere. There are some great pubs, which have kind and cheerful staff and a warm atmosphere. I went there and spent a good time with my friends at the weekend. I also liked to spend time alone in Alexandra Park and the West hill. Alexandra Park has some large garden, which comes out in a lot of flowers from April onwards. I had my lunch sitting in front of colourful flowers and spoke with local people who were very open and humorous. On the West hill, I always admired the fantastic view of the sea, old town, and the East hill and town centre. I enjoy all of the weather, especially fog, which creates a mysterious feeling. When I go out everywhere, I always pass the West hill, so I know a lot of aspect about West hill’s view. That’s my pleasure! I’ve been in Hastings for almost a year and if it’s possible, I’d like to stay longer…" Carlos Alberto, Colombia: "I’ve been here for two weeks and I‘ve find out that the school has the best location you can wish for, it’s so central and it’s not in a loudly street, that helps you to keep concentrated. Everyone here is so kind and you get the chance to meet people from many countries, that’s a chance to practice even more your English and to get to know other cultures. Everyone here has to speak in English and that’s a great way to improve your skills, if not the best. I’m looking forward to my work experience course and I hope it gets much better than it already is, here at Shane Language Centres." Mamuka, Georgia "Good things why I like Shane School are: perfect location, nice reception, lovely atmosphere and most important good qualified teachers. They are always lively, friendly and have good mood. So all staff is excellent. I think Shane School is very likeable and extremely good. Shane is best! I love London and Shane very much."
